Sports and Social Club Proposal

As part of the overall site development, a new modern Sports and Social Club is proposed in a pitch side location, overlooking the 3  improved and updated pitches.

The Sports and Social Club has been designed in collaboration with representatives of the rugby and football teams as well as committee members to ensure it is fit for purpose for not only those sports teams present, but the wider community. This has resulted in a  club designed  to house multiple activities at once, whether it be rugby and football post game celebrations, or martial arts and table tennis clubs.

In terms of sports provision, brand new changing rooms designed to RFU and FA guidance kick start a match day perfectly, prior to playing on reconfigured, updated and significantly better draining pitches. These amended pitches will ensure more games can be played throughout the year and reduce maintenance down time.

​

The re-siting of the clubhouse also means that on match day, spectators can watch their favourite team from the comfort of the social club and the balcony viewing platform.
